Rousseau Aurelien, Board Member

A serial entrepreneur with expertise in business development and technology applications, Rousseau has won the Ziff Davis' "Sm@rt 50" and "Sm@rt 100" awards numerous times. He is founder of Gazelle, the nation's largest reCommerce company and co-founder of Cambridge Information Systems, an Internet consultancy. Earlier in his career, he also held senior positions at Signiant, State Street Bank, and Teradyne.

James McElhiney, Board Member

As a software developer, technologist, and serial entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience, James' passion is to create companies that solve problems. He is co-author of a patent on large-scale audio and video storage and distribution, as well as co-founder and director of ReliefHub.org, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that works with orphanages around the world. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Technology Officer at Gazelle, the nation's largest reCommerce company. James was also co-founder of Boston Compliance Systems which was sold to Thomson Financial.

Eli Berg, MD, FACEP, Board Member

As CEO of Medical Reimbursement Systems, Int'l (MRSI), Dr. Berg is also a member of ACEP’s Coding and Nomenclature Advisory Committee, former Chairman of the American College of Emergency Physicians National Reimbursement Committee, and member of ACEP’S ED Facility Level Work Group. He is a past President of the Massachusetts College of Emergency Physicians, chairs MACEP's Reimbursement Committee, and is an Emergency Medicine Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee Representative. Dr. Berg also writes the regular column Reimbursement Check for Emergency Medicine News and is a speaker for National ACEP’s Coding and Reimbursement course.

Rushika Fernandopulle, MD, MPP, Advisor

Dr. Fernandopulle was the first Executive Director of the Harvard Interfaculty Program for Health Systems Improvement, an effort to leverage top faculty from across Harvard University and senior leaders in health care organizations to tackle the largest, most difficult problems facing the health system. Prior to these positions, Dr. Fernandopulle was Managing Director and Chief Medical Officer of the Consumer Health Initiative, and Managing Director of the Clinical Initiatives Center, both divisions of the Advisory Board Company, a membership based research and consulting firm located in Washington D.C. He is active on the faculty of Harvard Medical International, and has clinical, teaching, and consulting experience in a number of countries including the Dominican Republic, Malaysia, South Africa, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Columbia.

Karan Singh, Corporate Development

Karan is currently pursuing a dual degree at the MIT Sloan School of Management (MBA) and the Harvard-MIT Division of Health, Science and Technology (SM), and is a Fellow at the MIT Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship. As a former management consultant at ZS Associates, he specialized in sales and marketing strategy for healthcare clients and successfully designed, developed, and deployed an internal enterprise collaboration platform. He is passionate about the intersection of healthcare and information technology and is working to improve collaboration and build a more connected health community. Karan holds dual degrees in Business Administration and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Sonciary Honnoll, Product Development

As a former marketing executive helping organizations increase public awareness of their products and services, Sonciary is inspired about helping groups develop, launch, and market best-in-class services and applications. Earlier in her career, she was Director of Marketing at BizUnite, an independent business platform helping small businesses increase their buying power to more effectively compete with larger corporate conglomerates.
